Dear Friends and Prayer Team,

     Welcome to my new weblog (blog).  I will be adding photos, stories and book reviews over the next few weeks.  My news and health updates will be posted periodically here.  I will need you to “subscribe” to this blog and then when I post anything new to it – be it an update, a new story or a new photo or book review, you will get an automatic e-mail notifying you of a new posting along with a link to this blog.  You will then be able to go to that internet link at your leisure and view not only the new posting, but review anything from the past that you may have not had time for at the time of posting.  I would be honored if you do subscribe, but here is your chance to gracefully get your name off from perhaps  too many e-mails.  I think that one of the advantages of this new method is that I won’t be cluttering up your e-mails with lengthy attachments that may not be in an easy format for you to view, plus you won’t have to type in the Pagosa Daily Post website address and try to find my stories.   When you “subscribe” it will put you on the automatic e-mail notification.  My blog designer, Chris Liverett, my friend and employee, says this will be much easier than for us to try to get these postings to go out to all of your e-mail addresses.  Plus, it will help me to be sure it is going to people who would really like to receive it.  I know I spend a considerable time every day just deleting unwanted emails.    So long for now.  Love, Jerry
